A few moments where the research has spilled out of the lab and into a room.

Panel guest at the opening of the Lifelong Learning Center.

I was invited as a student of the University of Bern's Gifted Student Study Program to sit on a panel at the opening of the new Lifelong Learning Center, a hub that stretches from the Kinder Universität (a university for children) to the Senioren Universität (a university for seniors).

The conversation turned on what it actually feels like to study at university while still at gymnasium, and what lifelong, curiosity-driven learning looks like from a very young student's point of view.

An open presentation at Kantonsschule Zofingen on the Matura thesis. The story of turning a noisy light curve into a planet, told for classmates, teachers, and anyone from the wider community who showed up.

Hosting the Uselüti for the graduating class.

The Uselüti (Swiss German for Ausläuten, the “ringing out”) is the traditional final-day ceremony at Swiss gymnasiums: the graduating class rings the school bell one last time before heading into their Matura exams. The wooden stand to my right holds that bell.

I co-hosted the evening in the K-Halle in front of the whole school, parents, and staff: a mix of speeches, student sketches, and teacher challenges, stitched together into a single running show. It is one of those rare school events that feels entirely student-owned.
